''The Sentinel'' is a daily newspaper based in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, serving the Harrisburg-Carlisle metropolitan area. It is Cumberland County's only daily newspaper. In addition to the daily newspaper, The Sentinel produces three weekly newspapers: The Shippensburg Sentinel in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, where it also has an office; Perry Weekly in Perry County; and Sunday Select in Cumberland County.
